Real evidence. Simulated payment.
The invoice and people are real; Stripe payment values remain safely inside Test mode.
The short version
No real card or bank account is charged, no money moves, and no invoice is discharged. Zeronda creates genuine Stripe test connected accounts, Checkout Sessions and PaymentIntents, which cannot settle a real obligation.
| Real | Test-only |
|---|---|
| Accounts, names, work emails and business profiles. | The sponsor’s Stripe payment method and charge. |
| Uploaded invoices, hashes, extracted data and validation flags. | Payment settlement and beneficiary payout. |
| Invitation emails and authenticated access. | Any claim that a real bill has been paid. |
| Sponsor choices and the audit record. | Any future commitment to provide support. |
Safe testing rules
- Use only Stripe-published test payment values.
- Never enter a real card, bank account, CVC, PIN or one-time passcode.
- Do not upload identity documents to a Test-mode flow unless Stripe expressly instructs you to use its test document.
- Use a genuine invoice only when you are authorised to share it and understand it will be stored and analysed as real data.
What happens
A beneficiary uploads an invoice. Zeronda stores and hashes it, extracts key facts and checks for duplicate or inconsistent evidence. If checks pass, the sponsor receives a secure invitation. The sponsor can choose a test amount up to the remaining invoice total and continue to Stripe Checkout. Stripe records a test direct charge on the beneficiary’s connected account.
No authenticity guarantee
Automated checks reduce obvious errors and duplicate funding. They do not verify that goods were supplied, that the supplier’s bank details are safe, or that the document is legally enforceable. No “passed” label should be treated as an audit, assurance opinion or fraud guarantee.
Emails and privacy remain live
Resend invitation emails are actually delivered when configured. Invoice evidence and contact details remain subject to data-protection and confidentiality duties. Test mode is not a privacy waiver.
No regulatory claim
Zeronda does not claim to be a bank, payment institution or FCA-authorised firm. The proposed direct-charge design is intended to avoid Zeronda holding funds, but only provider approval and specialist legal analysis can confirm the final live model.
Keep live keys disabled until production security, data retention, contracts, refunds/disputes, Stripe approval and UK regulatory analysis are complete.
